John Maddox Roberts

John Maddox Roberts is the author of more than 50 books in the mystery, SF and historical genres. His novel SPQR was nominated for the Edgar Award and the SPQR series is now up to 13 volumes. He is the author of the contemporary Gabe Treloar private eye novels and has written two alternate history novels, based on the premise that Hannibal won the Second Punic War and an alternate history novel of Vikings in North America. He lives in Estancia, New Mexico with his wife, Beth, and an indeterminate number of cats.
