Mike Resnick
1942-2020
Mike Resnick stands first on the Locus list of all-time award winners, living or dead, for short fiction, and 4th on the all-time list of award winners for all lengths.
Mike Resnick was born in 1942, attended the University of Chicago where he met and married Carol, and is the father of Laura Resnick, herself a Campbell Award winner. He currently resides in Cincinnati. He was a prolific author of over 65 novels, over 250 stories, and 2 screenplays. Mike also edited more than 40 anthologies, and was the Executive Editor of Jim Baen’s Universe. His work appeared in more than 25 languages.
